The Edmon
Overview
Located in the heart of Los Angeles between Koreatown and Larchmont, The Edmon is a cozy neighborhood bar nestled beneath the Historic Hollywood Hotel. Known for its art deco interior, craft cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, the bar sought a refreshed digital presence that better reflected its character and charm.
Challenge
The existing website and imagery did not fully capture the ambiance, detail, and personality of the space. The goal was to modernize the site while staying true to the bar’s established art deco aesthetic and local identity. The visual direction needed to balance sophistication with approachability—inviting both hotel guests and neighborhood regulars.
Role
I collaborated with a small creative team and worked directly with the bar owner and landlord to lead the website redesign and art direction. My responsibilities included defining the visual direction, guiding updated photography, and designing a web experience that showcased both the environment and the offerings.
