Nex Playground Newsletter and
Brand Refresh
Overview
I partnered closely with my Creative Director to audit and redesign the brand’s CRM newsletter system, creating a cohesive visual framework for customer communications. The newsletters supported a wide range of content including game teasers, launches, seasonal updates, and holiday campaigns. Which a required a scalable, brand-consistent approach.
Challenge
Over time, the CRM emails had developed visual inconsistencies across typography, hierarchy, layout flow, and asset usage. These inconsistencies affected readability, brand recognition, and the overall user experience, especially when viewed across devices.
The goal was to create a standardized system that improved clarity, strengthened brand presence, and could extend beyond email into other digital touchpoints.
Role
As a designer and art director on the project, I assisted in the research and audit process, identified gaps in the existing system, and helped define new visual standards. I collaborated with my Creative Director to shape a flexible CRM design framework that balanced brand expression with functional performance.
Outcome
The resulting CRM template system consolidated existing patterns into a clear, cohesive design language that reinforced brand identity and improved readability. The new framework provided the team with a scalable, easy-to-apply solution that ensured consistency across newsletters while supporting future growth across additional platforms.
